My husband is refusing for alimony in spite having a heavy income and luxurious life

My husband and me both are ready for divorce but my husband is not ready to give me any kind of alimony and making excuse that his financial condition is very poor while he is leading a luxurious life,having two luxurious cars,living in posh area of Gurgaon,also have property in tronica city etc. So please guide me what action i can take against him?

Just bargain hard, compel him to pay as much as you can, which you are entitled. Otherwise, do not agree for divorce.

Dear Querist
File a contested divorce and claim alimony u/s 25 of Hindu Marriage Act, if you are unable to maintain yourself then you may claim maintenance too u/s 125 of Cr.P.C. or u/s 24 of Hindu Marriage Act for pendelite maintenance.
