Rights of mentally ill

Respected Sir/Madam,
My cousin's sister is an mentally ill(By birth) aged about 45 years. He is only taking care of her.

Is she has rights in the ancestral property
of my cousin which comes from his father side?

daughter would have share in property of her deceased father . if she is mentally ill an application can be made to court for being appointed as her guardian

She has share in the property. Court would appoint guardian for mentally ill person.

Yes, whether she is mentally or physically ill, she is is entitled to her birth rights in the ancestral properties equal to her brother. For this her brother or any other close relative should apply for guardianship through court after which he/or she can maintain the properties of the mentally ill person.
