Re-conveyance of a property which was mortgaged to governor of up

Hello all,

I have to do a re-conveyance of a property which was mortgaged to Governor of UP, now as per

FORM NO. 24
[SEE Chapter XI, Paragraph 224-E]
Form of Re-Conveyance for House-Building Advances

(form attached)

at the end of the form it says

Signed, sealed, and delivered by
for and on behalf of the Governor of Uttar Pradesh

My Query is:

How to know or which law can tell that, at present who is the authorized person to sign this on behalf of Governor.

It s for the Department concern to get it executed by the duly authorized official. The Governor would have delegated powers by notification in the official gazette to the concerned officials, say the Collector etc.

Group 'A' level of officers of under secretary rank aand of above rank in the concerned department are authorised to sign for and on behalf of the Governor of a state to reconvey the mortgaged property of a Government servant..

Consult the department with whom the property was mortgaged to get the form signed.

You may approach the Revenue department dealing with the lands, from where you will get proper guidance about what you should do next in this regard.
