(Querist) 29 December 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear All,
I have completed my LLB in 2011 and since then working as a professor in a college, now if i want to appear for AIBE 2015 is it mandatory to resign from current job before appearing for the examination????
Guest (Expert) 29 December 2014
You Need Not Resign Your Job.Appear for the Exams .
Anirudh (Expert) 29 December 2014
Only after enrollment as an Advocate with the Bar Council one will be permitted to sit in AIBE.
Since you are employed as a Professor, you will not be able to get enrollment while in employment.
Being a Professor you don't require any further guidance.

Dear Expert, You could become member of bar council of your state and appear for Exams.Once the Results comes you could submit a Letter to Council if you want to continue the Job or you could Practice. Discuss with your bar council and Proceed.I advise you to Complete the Exam and Keep your self eligible for Practice.Meet your State BCI.

Dear Ms. Mehta

please go through the Advocates(Right to take up law teaching) rules, 1979.
If you are under come under the rules, scenario would be different.
Anirudh (Expert) 29 December 2014
Dear Mr.Shah,
Please appreciate that the querist who is a Prof. wants to know whether he has to resign before sitting for AIBE.
He is not asking whether an Advocate can take up teaching job.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 30 December 2014
Agree with the expert Anirudh.

So obviously someone is misguiding. The Prof.is intelligent enough to know. Just because it is white a chalk cannot become cheese.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 31 December 2014
As rightly observed by expert Mr. Anirudh, the author is a professor, he is seeking clarification on that line, he has not stated whether he teaches law or some other subject.
