Regarding property

A few years ago govt. of india had allotted a 155.5 Sq.yds plot under East Pakistan Displaced Persons Scheme in Delhi. The property is still leasehold, however, the same was registered in the sub-registrar office accordingly. Please clarify in detail the meaning of leasehold property. Secondly, what is the meaning of conveyance deed and how it can be made for a particular property.

Conveyance deed means: Legal document which transfers the ownership of land from the seller to the buyer

the meaning of lease has properly been defined by Rajeev and so far as conveyance deed is concerned, it implies a registered deed conveying the terms of lease of properly in the given case. The lease is not full/freehold ownership rather it is subject to certain conditions mentioned in the conveyance deed and for a specific period. better get the property converted as free-hold.

lease property means that the ownership is for particular period and the govt may take it after the specific period if it is not renewed
