There must be a reason for such baisness. Disclose it to advise properly.
In any case he can file writ petition in the high court against such illegality.

The hostel should be vacated after the final examination as the institution has to adjust its new batch. Due to inability of a person to appear in the examination he can not be allowed to occupy the hostel for unlimited period.

If he has some genuine problem, he should represent to college authorities for requisite permission.

Follow the advice of seniors. If college authorities do not agree. File a suit for permanent injunction together with an application for temporary injunction. Exemption of sec 80 (2) CPC. is necessary. Meet to local lawyer.
