I am selected for a central government job . In the police verification process there is a step where they used to go to my school & college & collect a document from the headmaster that i studied there & bears a good moral character . The problem is that the school from which i completed my 11th & 12th no longer exists due to some administrative problem . Now, if the local police visit there & can't complete the documentation process will this create a problem in my verification process ? i have marksheet & certificates to prove that i was a student of that school . If it creates a problem what steps should i take . plz reply sir ....Thank u .

i hope that they never create problem and not pending your case, as per police verification check only any criminal cases pending before or not, if they pending the offcials should give reasons for pending verification

Don't get anxiety.Unless you are having any adverse remarks, police verification is a formality.

Police has no time to visit education institution and they confine to the address in jurisdiction in their thana where you state your self to have resided in past five years.

I never heard of the school verification. Police used to verify from the resident area wherein he lived for over 1 year.

Generally school is not visited. wait till the verification report is submitted.

not generally the schools are never visited by police. They have a mandate to visit residential address (during last five years) falling in respective thana area and to confirm whether you had any criminal record or not.

@ sudhir sir , i visited the SP ofc ....there they told me that they will visit my school & college in order to verify whether i was a student of that school or not .

For verification on such issues, the police will not approach the school authorities, instead they will extract information from your neighborhood. So be rest assured about it.
