Cheating by service company

(Querist) 08 June 2014 This query is : Resolved
Sir/Madam,
I need expert opinion in the following case.

As we are in internet era most of our jobs are done through internet. One such service is job providers. In jan 2014 a company in delhi promised me to get a high salary job in 15 days and asked me to pay 1500 intially. I enquired abt the openings, they said they have tie ups n they will conveniently provide me with a job. I paid 1500, later after few days they agn asked me to pay 11200, saying it as the fees for document verification. Later agn after few days they agn asked me to pay 10000 naming it for some products. I repeatedly kept asking them abt the job, they said if i pay 10000 they will process my profile further else no, Since i was in need of job i agreed to pay. They kept fooling me and till date i have paid a total of Rs. 65,554/- . They have not provided me with a job. When i call and ask they say i shdnt have paid that much amount, its my mistake.
Now im fixed, i have lost money and i dont even have a job.
I just want to knw can i take the help of law and get my amount back from these cheaters.
I have all the proof of payments as it is done through debit card.
I have also shared my concern with their authorities from time to time, i have those emails as proof.
So can i take help of law, will i get my money back if i do so.
Pls guide.

Thank You,

file complaint of cheating and criminal breach of trust against the company that promised you job on payment of fees

How do you know that the company exists, and bank a/c belongs to the company?

Without wasting anymore time approach your lawyer with all docs on record and lodge complaint with police, respective authorities and pray to freeze the a/c of the company…………………...................and recover your amounts.

I will do it at the earliest.

One more query if u dont mind to let me knw.
How much money may i need to fight this case?
Kumar Doab (Expert) 08 June 2014
IN that case you have the evidence.

If this company has an office at Karnataka ask your lawyer to make them a party.

Leave a hint that you shall be putting the details at portals of various employee's forums, unions, trade unions, social forums...................

Nothing would cost in lodging FIR with police. If you wish, you may engage a lawyer in court.

Well advised by Expert : Kumar Doab

You need not spent any amount except a small clerical cost/ say 250/-
Lodge a Police complaint giving all details, insist on filing FIR cheating u/s 420 & more.
Police will takew it seriously, as there are lots of cheater , who offer job and vanish, collecting money..
