Sir/ madam

how to apply RTI in local panchayat office. regarding neighbour apartment setoff. because they have raised an issue on our sewage treatment plan creating noise pollution.please guide me to write

Send an application by affixing Court fee for the value of Rs.10/- to the concerned information officer with a requisition to furnish information which are required to you under the RTI Act, through registered post with acknowledgement due.

It is the duty of Information officer to furnish the information within 30 days.

The RTI application can be lodged with PIO of the dept. with requisite fee by IPO, DD.................and RTI application can be deposited by hand too.................

Insist to supply the reply thru Redg. post and if required attach postage prepaid self addressed envelope.
