Even a member of the society can give police complaint. Consent of MC not necessary.
Thyagarajan (Expert) 04 June 2014
First the office bearers should speak to erring member so that he corrects himself.
Keep third party interference as lost resort
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 04 June 2014
Every sufferer can file police complaint and there is no requirement of passing any formal resolution for that purpose.

Such person can also be debarred from the membership of the society after providing him opportunity of hearing.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 06 June 2014
The committee members namely President or Secretary can intervene and try to solve the issues, but if he is reluctant to listen and adamantly continues to behave in the same manner, legal action may be followed upon.
