Un regd will

Dear Sir,
I am the General Power of Attorney of A lady and I have filed a Civil Suit on her behalf for her won acquired property the suit is under adjudication, and 3 month back she made a Will in my favour and her husband and elder son have signed as witnesses in the Will, but it is a un registered Will, One week ago she died. my Query is that whether I can won the property or not and whether the un registered Will will be accepted in the civil Court to continue the case. Please suggest.

Registrtion of will is not optional.If unregistered will fulfils the legal requirements then it will be absolutely valid in eye of law.

Unregistered will is valid.

The POA is no more active as principal has expired and either the LH have to be brought on record or POA from them has to be obtained.
