Is there any difference in below laws of two states in calculation of the maintainence and other charges?

1)
Maraharsahtra Apartment Owners Association Act 1972
and
Karnataka Apartment Owners Association Act 1972

2)
Maraharsahtra Societies Registration Act 1960
and
Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960

I am neither law student nor advocate.

I raised this query separately because
the housing committee where my flat is located in Bangalore says the flat/housing society related laws of Maharashtra and karnataka are different and Maharashtra's flat laws are not applicable in Bangalore.

Actually I asked this query in relation to my previous query "Incorrect maintainence charged".

Both the acts are applicable to the territorial jurisdictions within their own states and not beyond that.

Apartment Owners Association Act(s) are state subjects enacted with minor differences, read the act applicable in your case or engage a local lawyer.
