Problem with neighbour

(Querist) 12 December 2013 This query is : Resolved
Respected Sir,
We want to give boundary wall on one side but our neighbour is saying that we have occupied 10 inches of their land and so they will not allow us to give boundary wall.We told that we will measure the area of both the plots to get a solution but they are also not agree with us.What legal steps we can take against them so that we can give our boundary wall.
Kishor Mehta (Expert) 12 December 2013
Sir,
You can approach the Collector of your district for legal demarcation of the boundary. He is the legal authority to settle the boundary dispute.
Good Luck,
Kishor Mehta

Try to get the solution with the help of local effective people, common friends.

Demarcation of land can be applied for with jurisdictional SDM / Tehsildar / Patwari / Collector and the matter would get legally settled once for all !

Measuring the property with the help of a government surveyor and getting confirmation of each other's extent will be one solution, alternately, if the torture persists, issue him with a legal notice with instructions to refrain himself from disturbing/interfering in your peaceful possession and enjoyment of your property if he still does not listens, file a suit on the same grounds, so that a permanent solution will be arrived.

It is your call now, enough
