Court fees for succession certificate

(Querist) 04 December 2013 This query is : Resolved
I would like to know the court fees for succession certificate in Bangalore?
For share value, Is it charged on face value
prabhakar singh (Expert) 04 December 2013
The rule is to charge on market value ad valorem(previous day close price of stock exchence). The rate would be in K.C.F Act schedule
which i do not have being in U.P.

However if there is any nominee in DMAT a/c then no succession certificate is required and shares would stand automatically transferred in name of nominee as absolute owner under provisions of company law as and when applied.

Sandhya (Querist) 04 December 2013
Where can I read the provisions ? I would also like to know whether succession certificate is required for employee provident fund of a deceased employee?
R.V.RAO (Expert) 09 March 2014
succession cert. is required to claim any movable or immovables of the deceased by the legal heirs, unless there is a will/gift of the same.in case of will probate also needs to be obtained from a competent court of jurisdiction.
as regards availability of data on share market info.you can get it from bangalore stock exchange also, apart from sro office or any local corporate lawyer's office.

online/google search engine is also handy to elicit any info.

bangalore local Ask yellow pages can also guide you as to where locally you get the required info.
