hi sir this is raju sagi and my question is that my uncle use to work as postmaster and had expired due to disease during his service he has two daughters and i want to know the indian government rules of postal deparment for giving job to his family member,i also want to know is there any right for family member to get the job and they can fight for that.

Better immediately get applied through the legal heir of the deceased employee means either of his daughter, if she is either unmarried or widowed to the concerned office. Better act as per direction of department.

Postal department consider appointments on compassionate grounds to dependents of the deceased employee, if he has died in harness.

These appointments are governed by rules. In your case, daughters, are eligible to claim appointment on compassionate grounds. Direct them to the authorities who has paid his settlement and other dues.
