I have complaint against cbi

(Querist) 03 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
sir, i gave an information to cbi anti-corruption website against a central government employee regarding bribe that the said employee received particularly mentioning in the information that no details about me should be disclosed as the said option was provided in the cbi anti-corruption website which stated that if the informant wanted the cbi not to disclose the identity details the said informant could state that in the information. despite me having expressly mentioned in the information not to disclose any details about me, the cbi headquarters in delhi after having spoke to me over phone disclosed my identity and the head of the department in which the said govt employee was employed intimidated me over phone and warned me to come to his office in person and make a written apology for having made the complaint against the said govt employee. I want to have the cbi director, his men and other accused arrested and remanded to police/judicial custody and to have them punished as per due process of law. Please help me under what provisions of the law can i have the accused punished and which court should i approach in this regards. regds Adv Ravi

whether the bribe was demanded from you?

In case you gave information about other type of corruption and feel you r identity prematurely disclosed then have you met the concerned SP, CBI?

what evidence you have that Director CBI committed this lapse in person?

Mr. Ravi Shankar,

First of all keep in mind that corruption is always associated with power. So, you can expect corruption prevailing in all the Government departments. Caution is necessary to check the source you send your report and whether your report would be dealt with appropriately and sincerely through that source.

Secondly, if you send your complaint through email, you are sending an open coplaint to be read by anyone and everyone, who have the access to that mail box. Emails can be expected to be opened by the personal asistants, sub-inspectors, supervisors, etc., not directly by the Head of the CBI department or other senior officers.

Thirdly, do you know the person, who would have leaked your report to the concerned department to be sure to book that particular person/official?

Fourthly, not everyone in any department is honest, dedicated and sincere towards his duties and responsibilities.

So, what is the source of identification with you to identify the real accused and with what evidence in your hand and against the cbi director, his men and other accused you would get them arrested or send to the judicial custody?

Better, at first, try to get information, how your report leaked out. For that purpose, it may be proper if you report the matter by name to the Director CBI with a copy to the Chief Commissioner Central Vigilance Commission to ask him to intimate how your report could get leaked, who is responsible for that and why the Head of the concerned department harassed you and asked for written apology.

Mr. sudhir! When you were aware about the repetition of the query then why did you reply and thereafter declared it repeated?
