Trial of 498a happens in lower court. Once my family win 498a case in lower court, other party can go to session court.
What happens in session court? Do session court do trial again, same evidence,cross ...

No, it will be an appeal and in the appeal there will be only arguments of both the sides. The trial court procedure is not repeated in an appeal.

NO fresh trial in appeal takes place.The losing party assails the judgment and winning party defends it on analogy and rationality of facts and circumstances.
