Delhi EOW police has sent my complaint against builder to Gurgaon Police . Now Builder has head office in Delhi , Registered office in Manesar & No office in Gurgaon. I want to know where summons will be delivered ? Can Gurgaon police issue summons to builder Delhi office ? I need to prepare myself before police call me for more information / meeting in this case . Kindly advise.

When there is no office in Gurgaon, why you gave the address of that place, you could have given correct address. Summons will be returned unserved.

is manesar within gurgaon jurisdiction . the fact that complaint has been sent by cops to gurgaon for investigation indicates that it must be within gurgaon jurisdiction .
summons would be delivered at manesar where company regd office is located

Thanks Mr Rajeev & Mr Sethi . Complaint relates to builder's Manesar project . It is regarding non-implementation of Haryana Govt Notification . Builder has sales cum communication office in Delhi & registered office in Manesar . That is why complaint was registered in Delhi ? Now please advise.

Your complaint has been referred to the proper place. The Gurgaon police has full jurisdiction to investigate the matter.

Thanks a lot ! Can Gurgaon police deliver summons to builder's Delhi office as i had registered complaint in delhi & have not mentioned Manesar address ?

Manesar is in the jurisdiction of Gurgaon, and the court at Gurgaon like other courts have the jurisdiction to issue summon at Delhi, Gurgaon or Manesar or even any other place.

You need not worry if the Delhi Police has sent your complaint to proper place. Police has powers to deliever its summons even abroad what to talk of Manesar and Gurgaon.
