Hello sir/mam,
I want to know is there any law for the parents of a married woman,..
One of my Close friend is having a problem like one of her sister got married to another caste boy without permission of her parents before 7 or 8 years ago..
nd during these 8 years,there was no contact between the parents and there married daughter..
And now,
she is coming and demanding for her right of property nd her parents dont want to give her anything..
They have already disinherited her before 8 years.
But now she is threatning them that she will go to women cell for her rights etc.
Please give a proper solution of this...
That what can be done by parents in this situation?

Parents can FILE court proceedings for Disowning on grounds of cruelty and alienate her permanently.

If the property is ancestral, she can claim rights in the property or in case if it self acquired property of her father, then she cannot claim her right.
When you yourself have deserted your parents and had given them agony, then how you can approach them for partition of property. Try to live interdependently.

Actually she is threating them that by many things indirectly,like when she left her parents house ,she had not taken her certificates with her,,,now she is giving them warning like give me the certificates etc..nd i am also having the ryt in your property....otherwise i will go to women cell ..
and the parents dont have her certicates as they have already burned her all things at the tym when she hurted them...
wts the solution of this problm in favour of parents???

let he parents send their daughter a email listing the certificates in their possession and request her to collect the same .
daughter has no right in self acquired property of her parents . the parents can by will bequeath the property to whom soever they desire .

@ajay ..bt they dont have her certificates ...and by getting that certicates she wants to claim her property ryt..because right now she does not have proof that she is their daughter

if she had taken her certificates when she left her parents place respond accordingly that no certificates are in their possession and all certificates have been taken by her when she left the house .
the issue regarding property rights have already been explained to you .
