Question; DEFINE REGULAR SERVICE IN GOVT./PVT. DEPT.

IS FOLLOWING DEFINATION (GIVEN BELOW)IS APPLICABLE TO MACPS ONLY & NOT FOR ANY OTHE PURPOSE.

IF THIS DEFINATION IS NOT APPLY TO ANY OTHER GOVT. DEPT.(AUTONOMOUS BODY)THEN DEFINE REGULAR SERVICE WORD USED USED IN ANY GOVT. DEPT(AUTONOMOUS BODY).

Centre government has define regular service in S No. 9 of annexure of DOPT OM dated 19.05.2009 on regular service of MACPS(Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme) for the Central Govt. civilian Employee. As per MACPS Regular Service shall be commence from the date of joining of a post in direct entry grade on a regular basis either on direct recruitment basis or on absorption /re-employment basis. Service rendered on adhoc /contract basis before regular appointment on pre-appointment training shall not be taken into reckoning
