Technical resingation

(Querist) 25 February 2013 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
Presently I am working in PSU (BHEL) as Assistant Engineer. Prior to join BHEL, I had applied for ISRO (Central Govt) for the post of Technical Assistant. Now I've got appointment letter from ISRO. Since I've signed a bond of worth Rs. 100000 with BHEL, ISRO HR personnel has suggested me to submit a Technical Resignation in order to transfer of bond and other superannuation benefits.
I'd like to know (a) what is the Technical resignation exactly and, (b) what are its benefits and, (c) what would be needed to written in technical resignation letter?

(a) what is the Technical resignation exactly and,

Ans; In technical resighnation yo9u demit one particular post bnut not the Govt employment altogather. You assume new appointment as promotion/transfer and your past service continues. Since you are moving from PSU to Govt then PSU will have to pay the leave salary and pension contribution to the new deptt.

(b) what are its benefits and,

(c) what would be needed to written in technical resignation letter?

Ans : technical resignation makes it clear that you are resigning which post to assume which post in which organisation.

Dear Pramod,

Technical resignation is merely a formality of resignation to delink official relations of an employee in the records of one Government organisation and to re-link or establish relations with another Govt. organisations to make him eligible for benefits of his past service with old organisation along with the service in the new organisation.

That formality is for just the purpose of enabling the employee not to lose any benefit of his past service on resignation from his previous organisation, although that part of service is not rendered by the employee in the new organisation.
