Taxation on housing society

Our society got the notice to pay pending tax for 7-8 years. Now few people are not paying tax as their share of tax is too much. Municipal Corporation is saying buildings will be sealed if society don't pay tax as they have already given multiple notices. We are ready to pay our own individual tax but corporation don't accept it as individual tax assessment is not done. They want some fix total amount to be paid first. Tell me what to be done and save my house from getting sealed ?

against defualters society should take recovery proceedings under section 101 of maharashtra cooperative societies act . it is summary procedure .

society must be having reserves . pay the tax dues for whole society

society can impose heavy penalties against such erroring members and ma also recover the same as per law and initially may pay out of its reserve fund to save the building from sealing.
