Functions of administrator

(Querist) 01 January 2013 This query is : Resolved
My brother applied for letter of administration of my father's will and no one challenged and the court has passed its judgement about six months back. He is not taking any effort to excute the will nor initiate to regularise the affidavit ALREADY SIGNED BY US. we signed two affidavits drafted by a lawyer about 16 years back before he applied for letter of administration and we are enjoying the property as per that.
He has applied for letter of administration to the court and got it in his favor preventing the other benifiries from disposing the properties by keeping silent not even informing the benifieries about the court order nor initiate any action
What is time limit given to the administrator/ does it not amount to contempt of court directive. can we remind the court about this.

Instead of reminding the court, you need to obtain the certified copy of court order and to consult any local lawyer dealing in the civil side with the copy of that order and do as advised.
