1 month evacuation notice clause in 11 months agreement

(Querist) 10 September 2012 This query is : Resolved
My landlord wants a 1 month(30 days) evacuation notice clause in a 11 months agreement to which I(tenant) have opposed.
Is it legal to give 1 months evacuation clause in an agreement that is valid just for 11 months?
Isn't the 11 months agreement supposed to be honored by both landlord and tenant for the whole of 11 months?
