Respected Experts,
I just wanted to know about the details of a Consortium as I am working as accounts head in a firm. Further our firm had formed a consortium with one another dealer to participate in a tender in which our firm is acting as a leading partner. As I had never heard about a Consortium through my academic career, I just wanted to know Some facts as below :-
(a) Is a consortium required to be registered Under the Local Sales Tax Act?
(b) If not, The turnover of the Consortium shall be accounted in whose books of Accounts? i.e. :- Both the partners or the Leading partners.
(c) Is it necessary to give a Separate name to a Consortium?
