In trading business,frequently it that on purchase of bulk quantity seller of product gives the discount.

sometimes this discount is calculated on the basis of turnover of purchase booked and purchased during the financial year. Even purchase has also no pre idea about it?

How to calculate the cost of the product?
how to recognized discount on purchase in books of accounts?
