As per amendment in 2005 of Hindu Succession Act 1956, females in Hindu family are now also hold equal rights with the male members. Hence they are very much having rights and powers to have their entitle share in the property inherited in succession.

one thing i want to know is that who is not coparcner.is widow coparcener?
Deepak Nair (Expert) 17 May 2012
Dear Bhuvi,
Please don't post academic queries. You can get the answers of such queries just by referring text books.
Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 18 May 2012
Daughter can be a coparcener. However a widow would get her share through succession law and not as per coparcenery law.
