Original agreement is signed in Delhi. Regd office of the company is in Delhi. Now an agreement with a forged signature has been made. Person whose signature was forged lives in Gurgaon(Haryana state) and stated to Delhi police his signature was forged. Forged document mentioned the place of agreement as GURGAON, though original agreement mentioned the place as Delhi. Some signatories of the agreement are mostly live outside Delhi. The victim of forgery (complainant) is Delhi based and he is not a signatory of the agreement. Will the jurisdiction of the case falls under Delhi or Haryana?

ITS CAN BE FILED BEFORE DELHI ITSELF..

either partly or fully, where the cause of action arose, you can invoke that territorial jurisdiction.

Both Delhi and Haryana have jurisdiction.

The complaint may be file before Delhi Court or Gurgaon Court. Both the courts have jurisdiction.

usually a FIR of a criminal case should be filed in the police station under which local jurisdiction the offence is committed.
