Delayed complaint to cvc for demand of bribe

What is the validity of the complaint filed to cvc by the complainant after a period of one year of the alleged incident, without giving any proof and contradictory statements by his staff as regards the demand of the bribe?

Though there is no strict time limit to lodge such complaint , the delay in making such complaint does hamper the credibility of the allegations and sometimes wiping out of evidence.

No time limit. Offence any time during service perid of an employee can be pointed out to the CVC at any time.

At times the concerned file leaves the traces of malafide and case does not fall.

There is no time limit for complaining to CVC. However, I have personal experience that CVC had not paid any heed to my 10nos. repeated complaints on the same issue lodged immediately after occurrence of the incidence till it was directed through a politician. Do not expect much from CVC. It is used as a tool by the people in power. Most of the times it is heavily & decidedly biased against the ordinary.
