Gazzette for name change already given.

i have applied for gazette for name change and they give two month time, meanwhile we have to give any publication in news paper or Gazette officer will publish the same if there is any formalities remains from my side to make a Gazette valid then please suggest.

after the name change gazette publication,you can make an advertisement notifying the change,so that others may note the change,.

you may give a copy of the gazette to your bank/LIC etc so that change is reflected there too.

Once you receive the gazette from the gazette office, you can publish the same in the newspaper.

Publising in the news paper is not essential. The government departments and other organisations ask for copy of the gazette, sometimes along with an affidavit.

Untill the name is not changed, you should not give any publication or any other thing in news paper showing your changed name.
