I have married xyz in year feb2008, the intention was to get clubbed home loan.
we never stayed together, the very next day i stayed at my place and XYZ at his residence.
later marriage i came to know thAT WE DO NOT gel well and cannot continue marriage as he use to doubt me and abuse me a lot.
i told about the marriage at my home to my parents which i did not tell them earlier, they were shocked.
I applied for divorce in june2011 and filed petition against him under the grounds of dessertion and cruelty and mental harrasement
for my pettition he reverted that all is fake and and does not know the reason y i have applied for divorce, we are at stage of case in court pending for 1st hearing which is ob 12 april 2012, and have complted counselling stage.
in court he sticks to only one fact that he wants to stay with me and i deny.
we are staying apart from 4 yEARS.
Please suggest, how much time will we take for divorce?

How much time is a question which can be best answered by astrologers.
To be honest, if one party wants, he can drag the case for years.
BTW, it is one of the most strange reasons I have heard for marrying someone.

not only to your parents.. its shock to me also.. cos you married a man just for clubbed loan?..
*counseling may be continued for two or three times..
time for disposal is depends upon the cooperation of parties..

you can prove your case only if you hav marriage cetificate / photograph / invitation card / circumstacial evidence that both of you leaded conjugal life any way, other wise you cant prove your case , i think you dont hav any docs, i thin prior to file your DIV case your lawyer ignore all the posibility. for prope suggestion pl send your case to me.

What is the stage of the case? If it is for evidence then proceed with the evidence. Time depends on the court pending cases

Offcourse counsiling may consume three or four dates. Your case will be decided after wittness of both sides

YOU CAN TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS YOU BOTH WANTS.
JUDGE WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO PROLONG THE MATTER, HE DISLIKE DIVORCING. BEST WAY IS MCD, AFTER COMPROMISE.

I doubt that the grounds on which you sought divorce will be of any help to you.
Please note that we can always put allegations, but in court of law those allegations are required to be proved beyond doubt.
As suggested by Mr.Shroff, it is better to convince your husband for a mutual consent divorce. otherwise, the possibilities are to drag the matter for years.

Dear All,
Thank you for all your responses,
we have crossed counseling stage and now he reverted to my petition stating that all i have presented in petition is false and he wants to stay with me.he purposely says this in court as he wants me to torture for years and not free me from divorce. he also sends me message stating he will stretch this case for years.
