Insult

Respected Experts,
My Brother is doing Printing Business. Today he went to Paper Shop to purchase Paper for printing work.(Regularly he purchase the same Shop ) He bought the paper and paid the entire amount to the owner of the shop.Then my brother asked change for 1000 rupees and gave him 1000 rupees note. The shopkeeper gave change to my brother.My brother counted the change in front of the shop owner the amount is only Rs 900. My brother asked balance 100 rupees.The shopkeeper replied that you have kept Rs.100 in your pocket check up it. My brother showed all his pocket(Pant & Shirt Pocket)to check . ( Voluntaryly He showed his pocket Nobody checked him) then the shop owner gave Rs.100 and shouted at him that “ Hereafter Don’t come to my shop” in that time a lot of persons(other customers) saw my brother. He felt shamed.
This incident hurts my brother. Is the Shop Owner behaviour justifiable? Can we Punish him legally?. Please guide us

If you don't go to that shop and convince other customers of that shop not to visit it, the shopkeeper shall have to realize his guilt and this is the best way to punish him otherwise ingredients of defamation are missing in the given incident.

FORGET SMALL INCIDENT: CAN BE ANYBODY'S MISTAKE: IT HAPPENS__it's Life. He lost a customer!!

I could imagine the insult.

still it is better to ignore the issue.

may be happened due to some misunderstanding on the part of the shop keeper.
