Landlord and tenant

my father staying in pagadi room since last 40years. landlord and my father , has some querrel between them. he has given permission to other tenant to build mazonine floor (mala). That room is already 10th feet in hight. If suppose my father will build mazonine floor in the room so landlord has a right to take action againt my father,or Bmc can broke the mazonine floor. SRA is declare on that place.

That room is already 10th feet in high. If ur father will build mezzanine floor in the room landlord has a right to take action against my father,, but Bmc will have to broke the mezzanine floors of all tenants. SO YOU BUILT IT, AND LET MATTER PROCEED.

The landlord has done a wrong thing. Your father has got right to make complaint against the landlord with BMC as fresh mala should not be built thereon as its height is already more than permission.

Consent in writing of Land lord is required for any structural alteration in the building but again that permission is not enough if BMC rules are violated.

agree with experts permission of landlors is must to build a mezanniine floor . you also need permission of muncipal coproration
