Your query is very vague. This is not the way to raise any question from experts. I dont know whether you are a student or a general person and it is also unknown your aim to raise such query. Answer can be given properly if you come in a decent way first.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 20 December 2011
I fully agree with the opinion of Mr.makkad.

Rightly stated by experts, but for common man parlance the important steps would be

1. Complaint (Not necessary in all cases)
2. FIR
3. Arrest/ Bail (Even in non-bailable offences bail is granted mostly)
4. Chargesheet
5. Framing of charges
6. Prosecution Evidence (including cross-examnination)
7. Defence Evidence (if any)
8. Arguments
9. Decision/ Judgement
10. Appeal (If preferred)
ajay sethi (Expert) 20 December 2011
agree with experts .read CR PC .go through bare act of CR PC
Deepak Nair (Expert) 21 December 2011
Yes, I too agree with the experts.
Take some time and refer the CRPC for the provisions. It is available in english, Hindi and all the regional languages.
