EB connection

Dear Sir,

We have a land in which part say 400 sq.feet was encroached by a person and there is a hut and he was taken EB connection.
Please advice us how to disconnect this EB connection legally.

Kaushik,

You say that the land is enroached, is any suit is brought against the encroacher and if yes what is the status, based on that you can approach the electricity deptt to get the connection disconnected.

You can file a suit for recovery of possession and further seek for a direction to the electricity department for disconnection by filing a writ petition.

when the land is enroached, is any suit is brought against the encroacher, if yes what is the status and you first solve it legally.
therafter, based on that judgement you can approach the electricity department to get the connection disconnected.
