if will is registed outside mumbai is it it is necessary to probate from court

If it covers any property in mumbai or in any
presidency such as Calcutta or Chennai then it would be necessary.

section 213 of indian succession act provides that if will is made outside bombay but relates to immoveable property situated in mumbai then probate is necessary

And section 213 would be read with section57 of the said Act.Further under s.213(2) Muslims and indian Christians are exempted.
