sir,,, meri query yah hai ki agar koi goverment job me selection rules me general category ke liye candidates ki age under 25 year honi chahiye and obc candidates ke liye age me 28 year and sc, st ke liye under 30 year age honi chahiye .and after competitive exam .general category ki cut of merit 65% and obc category ki cut of merit 63% declare hoti hai .and mene obc category me apply kiya ho and mere mark 68% ho but age 26 year ho to sir me general catgory ki seat par selecte hota hu ya obc ki seat par ..please rplyyy me sirrrrr

Age condition of specific category would apply for which you had applied. Although post facto action on the part of the authorities is not called for at their own, but, if posts of ST/ST remain unfilled out of the qualified candidates, you may send request to the authorities for your adjustment against the category to which you belong. They may, if satisfied about the category of the candidate and prefer to use their discretion, make adjustment depending upon the merits of the case, but not as a matter of right, as you initially applied for the OBC quota only. You may however, note that the posts of reserved quota have essentially to be filled out of the candidates of those categories only. If some meritorious candidate is available, who may have applied erroneously against unreserved quota, he cannot be deprived of his genuine right.

but sir meri query yah thi ki according our constitutional kya general category ke liye decayed ki gyi age se over age wale obc, sc, st category ke candidates ki merit general category ki cut of mark ke jitne marks wale obc st st candidates bhi general category ki seat par selecte kiye ja sakte hai kya otherwise general category ki seat par selected obc, st, sc candidates ko age me koi benifit milta hai kya ?

Suppose, you were from some reserve category and you get higher scores and top the list in the merit, do you feel that you would have been given justice had you been placed much below in merit and seniority after the unreserved quota?
The rule for reserved candidates is that if some one secures higher position in merit, he would be placed at his due place in merit amongst the OC candidates although he would be treated as SC/ST/OBC candidate (as the case may be) and the quota of the reserved category would also not exceed by placing him above at his due place.
