Wife threatening

Pls. advise, what option / legal action can be taken against wife, who regularly threatens the husband that she will commit suicide and misbehave with him on daily basis for petty matters and blackmail him for all issues and force her decision on him.

This is sufficient ground for seeking divorce as held by Apex Court in a recently decided case. You may also complain to local police.

1.You need to complain about to local police immediately.
2.If you wish to take divorce then you can proceed on mentioned grounds.

Lodge FIR. This tantamounts to blackmail. Move court, if necessary.
However, the best solution has been suggested by Mr.P. Singh.

You are advised to file an application u/s 39 of Cr.P.C before your area magistrate. Keep it with you the certified copy of application and its order which will safeguard you in future in unforseen circumstances.

Dear Mr. Sethi,
Mr. Riyaz is not asking whether his wife will come to know about it, when he give her Talaq.
Rather, he is reacting to the answer of Mr. Arun Kumar Bhagat, who said that Mr. Riaz can make an application under Sec. 39 Cr.PC regarding the repeated threats being given by his wife. He wants to know whether his wife will come to know that he has made such an application u/s. 39 Cr.PC if he really made one.

If you want to continue the relationship, My suggestion is to take her to psychiatrist.

If you dont want to try the above, divorce her.
