Whether non-judicial stamp paper purchased in Gujarat can be validly used in Kerala State wherein agreement is signed.

Normally, it can be used anywhere in India.
But after Telegi's incident, registration officials hesitate.
So, now it is at the discretion of the Sub-Registrar. If you already bought, please consult the Sub-Registrar concerned, otherwise drop it and buy at Kerala.

The Non-judicial Stamp paper is the revenue of the State concerned. A NJS paper purchased in a particular State cannot be used in another State.

View of the Respected Singh and Ramchandran is appreciable but it is fact that stamp paper purchased from any state can be used in any state , consideration of the Sub Registrar is not a mater. but the concerned DSR may object so convince him. but law never say that a stamp paper purchased in one state can not be used in other state. another one thing is that now stamp paper print in every state is only for safer side after the telgi scame.

I think Mr. Surender Kumar is no where near legal position when he says that "stamp paper purchased from any state can be used in any state".
Once it is conceded that the Stamp duty is the revenue of the State concerned, it flies in the face when one says that a stamp purchased in one State can be used in another State.
It is for the querist to take a call whether to follow the advice of Mr. Surender Kumar or not.
