Yes, there is in fact no normal time for divorce.

I think he is asking about what time is to be elapsed before filing of divorce petition.

No normal time but one condition for getting divorce is ; Desertion – If one of the spouses voluntarily abandons his/her partner for at least a period of 2 years, the abandoned spouse can file a divorce case on the ground of desertion. section 13, (viii) has not resumed cohabitation for a space of two years or upwards after the passing of a decree for judicial separation against that party;
No resumption of co-habitation for one year after the decree of judicial separation, no restitution of conjugal rights for one year after decree for restitution of conjugal rights;
