IS this case between state and respondent or peitiner vs Respondent.

For eg, 498a is case between state and husband. does similar anlogy apply in IPC invoked for false statement and evidence given.

it all depends on the nature of case, like if the a person give false information or evidence in a civil proceeding then the person who made a complaint against that person is the complainant and the title of case will be "complainant by his name vs. that accused"
