Dear Sir, I have purchased agricultural land in Khambil Mahabaleshwar and have got the registration done.
Now talati of that village has cancelled the process of my name entry in 7/12 stating my farmer status needs to be proved by certificate from tehsildar of my village.
I was under the impression my land document of my hometown which was basis for registration is sufficient. Letter of cancellation was send to me which never reached me because of wrong address.
Now when I have met personally the talati he has given me the notice and asked me to go for appeal now in Vai Prant Office.
What is the process and timeframe.
Need guidance.

I think talati has adopted wrong procedure; he has simply to make entry and refer the matter to Mamlatdar,who will hear you and may reject certification of your entry and then you have to prefer appeal within two months to the Prant Officer and you can also submit condonation application alongwith showing the reason you stated.If you are an agriculturist,submit rr and 7/12 that you are having agr. land.

Dear Sir,
The letter was sent thru speed post which never reached me last year february now it is more than a year. I came to know only two days back when I went to enquire about it.
I have met Tehsildar also but told to go for appeal at Prant Office.
It would be of great help if you can guide with elaborate steps.
