gift of property during his life time

my late maternal grand father during his life time(while on death bed) has gifted almost his entire property to his only son leaving his 4 daughters penniless. i've heard tht in mohommadan law the father can gift his property to anyone including his hiers in any proportion during his life without being questioned. do we have a ground to file a case if so is true??

if the father make a will to give any one but same time the G.father give only 1/3 of shares only, balance go to legal heirs. as per mohammedan law
