i got register married with my lover without knowing to any of our parents. we live seperatly. i am a software professional. i used to have drinks twice a month. my wife works in a alcholic de-addiction center and hence she hates drinking and she consider me as a addict. and hence, she is not willing to live with me and says same as the reason. we are couples legally but she is not willing to start life with me. i am ready to quit drinking, but she is not believing me. she is not in a position to understand me. what is the legal way so that i can have her live with me? what if she says she was forced to marry me(though i have enough evidence she loved me a lot)? what are the defensive and offensive actions i can take legally? is there any possibility that she can avail divorce stating that i am a drunkard? we have not started living together yet. what are the points i can have to make her live with me , if she/me approach the legal ways ?

convince your wife that you have stopped drinking, make her to think positively about you. By doing so you can get her back. Inspite of it if she is stick up to her decision then file a restitution of conjugal rights case in the court.

since your wife is working at an alcholic deadiction centre,what she sees there might be a frightening experience for her.
Is Having a drinks once or twice in a month alone the real reason?
try to convince her through some common friends if any.
I believe that legal system has no effective role in love. so dont think of legal remedies for your problem

come to the maturity. every dispute can not be resolved by the court and not in the court. so you have to convince your wife so she can believe you

What is the current status now.As a rule the de adiction workers gets adicted to the vice they want to cure.

Family harmony cannot be restored or regained by legal process. You will have to convince her that you have already left drinking habit. Go, live with her, so that she can believe you hen you won't drink at any occasion, even if compelled by any one.

Stop your drinking habit and start a perfect way of life .Then she by herself will come and join with you.
