regarding cast certificate

dear sir,
my self born and built up in chhattisgarh as my parents came here before my birth for the seek of job. my parents are belongs from west Bengal, as they are from schedule caste of west Bengal, they have their cast certificate, so could you tell me the procedure by which i also can get caste certificate from west Bengal as i am not living over there.

You are originally from WB and your caste is declared as Schedule caste. Make an enquiry whether your caste is chattsigarh is also declared as SC then you can get certificate from Chattisgarh, if it is not so then you will have to get it from WB.

You can apply for the community certificate to the Tashildar of Chattisgarh. You can not get community certificate from WB.

The Caste certificate can be issued from both places i.e. From W.B. & Chattisgarh. You inquire from the the concerned office, whether your caste is also falls within the list of Shedule Caste in Chattisgarh . In case, it is, you apply for the same on the basis of Caste certificates of your parents.

If your caste is classified under the category of Scheduled caste in West Bengal communities, you can also apply for the certificate in Chhattisgarh also.

1. Domicile certificate is required for the issuance in Chattisgarh;

2. Best way apply to West Bengal, BDO Office where your parents last cohabited or resided together;

3. You can use your Father's Caste certificate for yourself in case the same is not issued to you;
