PROMOTION MATTER IN DRDO

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 16 December 2010 This query is : Resolved
I am a Scientist 'F' in DRDO since 2002. I did not get a call in 2007 assessment. I then represented for review of my ACRs claiming my achievements as outstanding. But I got a reply after about 6 months that rereview is not feasible. I took the matter again when I was not called for assessment in 2008, after six yrs but official did not do in that direction.

As per Supreme Court rulings, all ACRS are to be reviewed in natural justice manner if the individual represents against downgrading the ACRs but officials have not followed the process despite repeated requests so far.

2. The officials have also diluted the authentication of my achievements in my Bio-data submitted for assessment in 2009 and failed me superseding me by about 100 people.

3. Then I filed a victimization petition in grievance cell of the Dept praying for retrospective promotion in view of injustice. But official gave a reply after 6 months that my petition is being taken care of at appropriate level.

4. Meanwhile i got a call again for 2010 assessment. I submitted my bio-data for assessment praying for ACRs review and giving the promotion retospectively. But I was again betrayed by official, they again failed me . 200 people have superseded me in total so far.

5. on my request, official appointed a committee for the case. I gave all the proofs of my achievements but three months have passed with no reply. I now requested for issue the judgement after the committee recomendation.

5. Every time they first pass the time and then give false hope thus cheating me.

What is the remedy now. Pl advise. My point is that they have never followed the supreme court guidelines for review of my ACRs. They have also gave false and misleading reply thus cheated me. They also followed dilatoty tactics wilfully which is againt the conduct rules.

you can file a writ of mandamus before the high court for remedy.

In the given matter, you have no other option but to approach CAT or to HC of your area in writ and get the desired justice therefrom.
