Right of the harassed husband

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 21 November 2010 This query is : Resolved
Respected Sirs,
I request you kindly to answer this question straightforward. No irony, sarcasm diversion etc please.
The question is:

The husband has been paying lakhs of rupees in the form of maintanance. But still the estranged wife goes on filing revisions for the enhancement of amount without furnishing any details of expenditure or without any valid reason for enhancement.
Just because the husband, with his own sweat, hardwork, after spending of time and energy, (with absolutely no participation or role of that estranged wife and erring wife) earns fairly good amount, he should be made to pay a huge amountto that troublesome wife?
As paymaster can't he seek and ask for the details of the expenditure from that devastating wife?
Is it not injustice that he is denied the right of knowing the truth?

Please add to the above:

And whenever there in an application for enhancement from the erring greedy wife (who wants only money, and not her husband or matrimonial life) even though without substantiation, the HONOURABLE (!!!!!???) jUDGES READILY SANCTION THE AMOUNT.

Without seeing the order tself , iit is hard to comment as to why the judge'readily sanction the amount'.
The law is the wife is enttiled to get mantenance at par the status of the husband, irrepectvve of her actual expenditure. She is also entitiled to such alteration(read increase)as the enhancement of the income of the husband permits.
But this not a one way traffic. If you could prove that the wife has left her marital home on her own wish and without any reasonable excuse or that she earns enough to maintan herself then she would not be entitiled to maintenance. Even at this also if you have such proof then you could also pray for such alteration as your case permits.
