occupancy certificate

I from Hyderabad and would like to know the procedure for getting the occupancy certificate from GHMC Hyderbad. We are already paid the property tax for the current year.
Also would like to know is this to be given by the builder or we can approach the GHMC directly through our association?.

The occupancy is generally given to the Builder only on completion of the building project. Ask for such certificate from your Builder though the occupancy of the flats in absence of that Certificate is not illegal.
