Writ petition

I Want to file a writ petition against the tax department for claim the reward amount (Which is 10% of the total Tax gain on the recovered amount by the department) to the informer Que-1.How I calculate the reward amount which i want to claim ? please give example. Que-2. To whom I will have make the necessory party. (The matter is of the Delhi)

Reward amount if usually the Undisclosed Income assessed after the search.

Union of India, Finance Secretary, Chief commissionr or DGIT of the Jurisdiction and the Officer to whom the information was given.

Well, reward amount is not a legal right. Further, there is no fixed formula to calculate it. It cannot be calculated without taking into consideration various factual things like quality of information, accuracy of information, use of information in investigation, result of such information etc. I sincerely doubt writ is proper remedy in this case.
Firstly send a representation to the authorities giving various ground as to whay reward should be given to you. I think that may be a good starting point and from the reply, you may get certain clues to proceed further. If no reply is received, it will be easy to get an order from the court to decide your application in a time frame.
