what is the value of the property as per your deed? If you have paid stamp duty for the value contained in the deed ,it is enough. It is a valid document. Now that you have been able to get the deed registered obviously you have paid the duty as per law. Otherwise the deed would have been impounded and proceedings under Sec.47A of the Indian Stamp Act would have been initiated against you. So you need not worry.

Dear Anonymous, You have to indicate the following minimum information, before your query could be answered properly. (i) In which State the Property is situated? (ii) What is the consideration shown in the Sale Deed? (iii) Whether the property is being registered in the name of a male or female? (iv) Whether you have already registered the Sale Deed in question?
